Around 130.000 Visitors Come to Essen at the First Weekend of the Fair
The engines are roaring and petrol is in the air: The Essen Motor Show 2015 has begun. At the first weekend of the fair, around 130.000 visitors enthusiastic about automobiles streamed into Messe Essen. Still until December 6, over 500 exhibitors are presenting sporty series automobiles, tuning, motorsports, classic cars and motorcycles. The start of the fair was also characterised by the appearances of
automobile manufacturers such as Ford-Werke, Peugeot and Skoda. Moreover, the stars on the scene Sidney Hoffmann, Jean Pierre Kraemer and Akira Nakai as well as several DTM drivers gave autograph sessions.
„We are pleased about a successful and peaceful start to the fair. The Essen Motor Show 2015 is once more showing the best of all automobile worlds and is uniting the most diverse passions for performance vehicles,“ Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen, described the beginning of the fair. The guests appearing on the occasion of the Preview Day on November 27 included Essen’s Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen and the actor Götz Otto. They obtained information about sporty series vehicles, tuning and motorsports from exhibitors such as ADAC, Continental, Ford, Hankook, Hockenheimring, Peugeot, Skoda and ThyssenKrupp Bilstein.
Tune it! Safe! Initiative Unveils New Police Vehicle: TIKT Performance Corvette
On the Preview Day, the Tune it! Safe! initiative for safe and serious automobile tuning presented its new campaign vehicle: a TIKT Performance Corvette in a police look. With the refined sports car icon, the initiative is showing that appealing and creative tuning on no account contradicts the statutory stipulations. At the second weekend of the fair, the highlights awaiting the visitors will include several Borussia Dortmund players on the booth of the tyre manufacturer Hankookas
well as the final of the tuning competition called the Hella Show & Shine Award.
